New Saporina, a spread made from Saporoso, our unique balsamic vinegar of Modena, is brought to you through a cooperative effort between the fifth generation of the Malpighi family and the chefs at the restaurant Acetaia Malpighi. Saporina is a perfect compliment to many earthy and complex aged cheeses such as Taleggio, Castelmagno, Pecorino of Fossa, Parmigiano Reggiano, and with fresh cheeses, such as Gorgonzola, Caprino and Robiola; with boiled and barbecued meat and on “bruschetta”. The balsamic based jelly can also be used as a terrific sweet marinade for meats, poultry and fish. Just simply spread on your dish 5 minutes before cooking is complete.

The "Healing Powers of Vinegar" describes the natural powers of balsamic vinegar. Its potassium content helps reduce high blood pressure; beta-carotene helps fight cancer-causing free radicals and boosts the immune system; boron helps metabolize bone-builders, calcium and magnesium; insoluble fiber reduces cholesterol.
