Coming from the North of Italy, Caprino with Traminer Wine is an award-winning cheese made with goat’s milk and treated with organic Trentino Alto Adige Traminer grapes. The seasoned cheese reveals a delicate and scented aroma along with a sweet taste.
With this wrinkled, dark brown coloured cheese, there is evidence of grapes residues. Friable and compact, this cheese offers aromatic and perfume intense flavour due to the Traminer wine and the grape marc it is seasoned with.
After the cheese has been aged for 6 months, it is immersed in Traminer wine for 15 days and then vacuum packaged. Caprino with Traminer Wine can be enjoyed alone or grated on Risotto or melted in Polenta. It can also be enjoyed with white medium and full-bodied dry wines as well as sweet white wines.
