Tirrena Spaghetti No.5 are produced in Tuscany, Italy, using a blend of ancient Italian wheat varieties and an exceptionally long traditional drying process.
Made with Senatore Cappelli, Khorasan, and Evoldur ancient grains, this pasta is crafted entirely in Tuscany from wheat cultivation to milling and pasta-making. The spaghetti are slow-dried for 144 hours, a process that maximizes structure, flavor depth, and cooking stability.
Spaghetti No.5 offer a balanced thickness that works across classic Italian recipes, from simple olive oil-based sauces to tomato, seafood, and meat preparations. Firm, elastic, and reliable even when cooked al dente.

Cook in plenty of salted water (about 2 L per 100 g of pasta, roughly 10 quarts per pound) at a rolling boil for 14-16 minutes — the long drying time means a longer cooking time. Finish in the pan with the sauce so it absorbs.
