Typical of Liguria and Piedmont, they have numerous versions but a particular constant: the use of the boiled egg in the dough.
We propose the most widespread version, the Ligurian Canestrelli, small friable cookies with the characteristic flower-shape and a hole in the center.
They are gourmet pastry canestrelli made following a very old traditional recipe using fresh butter, flour and vanilla sugar. The ingredients, accurately selected at local level, contribute in giving the product its unparalleled flavour.
A curiosity: the Canestrello, the famous scalloped flower-shaped biscuit with a hole in the centre is typical of the Ligurian hinterland and each area boasts it own version. Once considered the typical biscuit for festivities, it was sold in all the village fairs and was even commemorated in the Monumental Cemetery of Staglieno (Cimitero monumentale di Staglieno) in Genoa, held in the hands of the famous statue of Caterina Campodonico, a street seller of the 1800s who became rich selling canestrelli and hazelnuts.

I ordered these as a surprise for my husband who loves eating biscuits. Guess what? He absolutely loved them!
Individually wrapped means I don't have to carry the whole packet with me. They are also good for when guests come around. These are so yummy!

If someone has never tried this they absolutely need to go all out and try it. You couldn’t be disappointed. The flavor is out of this world and I’m so glad I took a chance. I will definitely be back for more. I was also very pleased how quickly it showed up straight from Italy to the U.S.

These crunchy and light Italian cookies are unusual in texture, which makes them out-of-the-ordinary. They are also heavily flavored, one person in my family thought it was cherry, the name refers to almond flavor, but they are in fact made from apricot pits.
I loved the tin container that they come in and the fact that each is individually wrapped in plastic and then a decorative paper wrapping. It makes each little cookie something to focus on.
Delicious balsamic vinegar in a very adorable fun cheerful ceramic container.
I did not know what to expect, but the oranges were fresh (they have the leaves on), packed well and arrived quickly after the date they said they would ship. The biggest surprise was how delicious they were - each orange was sweet with a tinge of sour.
Beautiful container and glasses. It's a Christmas gift so I haven't tried it yet but I've purchased enough of your limoncello to know it will be excellent.
