CEDRATA TASSONI is the iconic Italian soft drink born in Salò, on Lake Garda, in 1956: a naturally flavoured sparkling beverage, sweet with a bright citrus tartness, ready to enjoy in its ideal single-serve dose.
Its clear golden colour comes from safflower, a flower of the daisy family, while its unmistakable aroma comes from Diamante citrons — hand-picked in the prized citron groves of Calabria between October and November, when the peel is still green and at its richest in essential oils and antioxidants. The thin outer peel is removed and steam-distilled in the original 1872 copper stills that Tassoni still uses today.

Serve Cedrata Tassoni well chilled in a glass filled with ice, and finish with a fresh basil leaf to lift its aromas — this is the way Tassoni recommends it. Perfect on its own as a refreshing afternoon drink, and equally at home as an elegant aperitivo or as a mixer.
INGREDIENTS
Water, sugar, carbon dioxide, acidifier: citric acid, natural flavouring of Diamante citron and citrus fruits, concentrated safflower extract.

THE HISTORY
Tassoni has been synonymous with craft and know-how for over 200 years, and the secret recipe of the Cedrata has been handed down since the 1950s. Originally the drink was prepared with citrons of the Citrus Medica variety grown on the western shores of Lake Garda; today it is made with the Diamante citrons of sunny Calabria.
The bottle is a genuine piece of Italian design, loved by consumers as much as the drink itself: 180 ml of rough, clear glass that echoes the texture of a citron peel and shows off the colour and brightness of the liquid inside. For years it carried no label at all — the name and ingredients appeared only on the unmistakable yellow-and-green cap — before the branding returned to the glass as a vintage tribute to the tradition and history of Cedrata Tassoni.
