Frantoio Calvi Liguria Cherry Peppers Stuffed With Mediterranean Tuna are characterized by their roundish shape.
The cherry peppers are handpicked when they are not yet completely red, washed and deseeded by hand. Then they are left in water and vinegar to ripen. Once ripe, they are washed with vinegar and water and then filled with Mediterranean tuna by hand.
The cherry peppers are sealed in a jar filled with extra virgin olive oil. They make a great appetizer and aperitivo, and can also be used to dress pasta and rice salads.

Drain the peperoncini briefly to avoid excess oil on the plate. Each pepper is a single serving.
To serve as antipasto:
• Drain 2–3 peperoncini per portion
• Arrange on a small plate
• Pair with a slice of bread and dry white wine — Vermentino or Pigato are the natural pairings
• Drizzle a little of the packing oil over the bread
The product contains fish (tuna and anchovies). After opening, keep refrigerated at 32–39 °F (0–4 °C) and consume within 3 days. Always cover the remaining peperoncini with their oil before refrigerating.
