The Dolomitenkönig (King of the Dolomites) is made exclusively from the fresh cow milk from the Pustertal Valley in the Dolomites.
The cheese takes its name from King Laurin, the dwarf king of the Rosengarten. The Dolomitenkönig is encased by a solid, slightly rough rind. The inside of the cheese goes from bright yellow to pale yellow and presents round holes, which have the size of cherries or walnuts.
The consistency on the palate is compact but still soft and smooth. The smell of the cheese is complex, though it tends towards slightly sweet and nutty notes. If the cheese is aged for longer, then this will enhance its nutty flavor.

Dolomitenkönig ("King of the Dolomites") from Mila, the South Tyrol mountain-milk cooperative, made from South Tyrolean mountain milk in the cheesemaking tradition of Brunico, in the Puster Valley. A semi-hard cutting cheese with a solid, slightly rough rind and a pale straw-yellow paste with cherry-sized eyes: compact yet soft and elastic, with aromas of hazelnut and subtle notes of honey.

Ingredients: Pasteurized milk, cheese cultures, salt, microbial rennet.

Contains: milk.

Best Cheese Ever!

This cheese is most definitely one of my favorites!!! I let it sit out for a bit and it softens with a delightfully olive oil flavor! And, the texture and flavor drives you to cutting more! Super tasting cheese!!!

Dolomiti Cheese!!

I got to taste this cheese when I visited Italy. Really enjoyed it!! It’s a semi-hard cheese but really liked the texture and taste. I had to order some when I got home. This cheese made it all the way to Hawaii! Thank you Dolceterra!!

Enjoy

I enjoy the milder cheese with fruit, crackers and nuts. Are there other ways of serving it? I also enjoyed the ‘Lemon Baked Ricotta of Amalfi’ after an evening meal. When are you going to offer it again? The Sicilian Aged Provolone is also good with fruit, etc.
The Artisan Torta dells Rose was enjoyed, but notice that the photo showed that it consisted of 10 rolls and what was delivered had only 7. The weight was consistent with what was advertised.

Chocolate Lovers Dream

Absolutely delicious. The chocolate is high quality and there is a larger than expected amount of it in the center of the biscotti.
Will defintely be ordering these again!

Amazing!!!!

The only words I can say, Amazing!!
If someone has never tried this they absolutely need to go all out and try it. You couldn’t be disappointed. The flavor is out of this world and I’m so glad I took a chance. I will definitely be back for more. I was also very pleased how quickly it showed up straight from Italy to the U.S.

GREAT FLAVOR

The taste of this stunned me. I had never thought of putting these two tastes together

An out-of-the-ordinary treat

These crunchy and light Italian cookies are unusual in texture, which makes them out-of-the-ordinary. They are also heavily flavored, one person in my family thought it was cherry, the name refers to almond flavor, but they are in fact made from apricot pits.

I loved the tin container that they come in and the fact that each is individually wrapped in plastic and then a decorative paper wrapping. It makes each little cookie something to focus on.

Delicious balsamic vinegar in a very adorable fun cheerful ceramic container.

Sicilian Orange IGP

I did not know what to expect, but the oranges were fresh (they have the leaves on), packed well and arrived quickly after the date they said they would ship. The biggest surprise was how delicious they were - each orange was sweet with a tinge of sour.

Outstanding

Beautiful container and glasses. It's a Christmas gift so I haven't tried it yet but I've purchased enough of your limoncello to know it will be excellent.
