Instant ginseng coffee mix from Crastan, the company founded in 1870 by Luzio Crastan in Pontedera, near Pisa, and still run by the same family. Crastan began with roasted coffee substitutes and is today one of the main Italian producers of instant drinks.
This is the "da zuccherare" version, meant to be sweetened to taste in the cup. Instant coffee, Rainforest Alliance certified, and Panax ginseng extract make the creamy, foamy caffè al ginseng served in Italian bars, to prepare in an espresso cup or a larger cup.

- Size: 200 g (7.1 oz) jar
Put 1 heaping tablespoon of powder in a cup (2 for a larger cup), add a little warm (not boiling) water or milk and stir into a thick cream. Fill the cup with 2 to 4 fl oz (60-120 ml) of warm water or milk, stirring continuously. Once the foam forms, sweeten to taste.
Ingredients: Skim milk powder (38%), glucose syrup, coffee 16.5% (instant coffee 15.6%, finely ground roasted coffee 0.9%), non-hydrogenated coconut oil, Panax ginseng extract (0.8%), natural and artificial flavors, sodium phosphate.
