Italy's iconic bittersweet soda the original cult classic.

Chinotto is the soda Italians grew up on: dark, complex and impossible to fake. Tassoni's Chinotto Bio stays faithful to that legacy, built around the prized chinotto citrus grown in the Alcantara Valley in Sicily and rounded out with around fifty botanicals blended by Tassoni's master herbalist.

The result is delicately bitter, citrusy and gently spiced, with a deep amber color that comes from organic caramelized sugar β€” never artificial coloring. Think of it as the sophisticated, grown-up cousin of cola: less sweet, far more interesting.

Best served simply, ice-cold and neat, as a refreshing alcohol-free aperitivo. It also shines in cocktails, where its bitter backbone adds real Italian character.

Crafted in SalΓ² on Lake Garda by Cedral Tassoni, masters of authentic Italian sodas since 1793.

Why you'll love it

  • Made with real Sicilian chinotto extract and infusion
  • Around 50 botanicals, blended by a master herbalist
  • Delicately bitter, citrusy and spiced β€” distinctly Italian
  • Natural color from organic caramelized sugar, no artificial dyes
  • Certified organic, vegan-friendly, gluten-free and kosher
  • No declared allergens
  • Iconic 180ml glass bottle, made in Italy

What does chinotto taste like? Bittersweet and aromatic β€” citrus zest and warm spice up front, with a clean, slightly bitter finish. If you love amaro, Campari or a good tonic, chinotto is your soda.

Ingredients: Water, organic inverted sugar syrup, organic lemon juice from concentrate, carbon dioxide, organic caramelized sugar, organic chinotto extract (0.26%), organic chinotto infusion (0.19%), acidifier: citric acid, natural flavors, salt.
