Sixty percent apricot, which is well above the minimum for a nectar and explains the texture: this pours slowly and coats the glass. Water, sugar and Siracusa Lemon PGI juice are the only other ingredients.
200 mL / 6.8 fl oz
Opaque, deep orange, thick enough to coat the glass. Ripe apricot on the nose, with the faint almond note that comes from fruit picked late. Dense and pulpy in the mouth — more spoonable than drinkable — sweet but held together by Siracusa lemon, which stops it going flat the way apricot juice usually does.

• Blended into smoothies, where its body does the work a banana usually does
