Shipping Information
Typical consumer orders to a residential physical address within the 48 contiguous states normally will be shipped via UPS Express / FEDEX Priority. Orders for schools and businesses normally will be shipped via UPS Express / FEDEX Priority Saver within 3-4 business days of receipt. Orders will be delivered within 2-3 business days after shipping.
When ordering from dolceterra.com your order is guaranteed to be handled with care and shipped with an eye toward ensuring the products arrive as fresh as possible. Each order is packed with keen diligence, so you can rest assured you, or the gift recipient, will receive our delicious products in prime condition.
The most beloved Italian foods online are cold cuts, cheeses and fresh meat, as well as all those products that are handmade by family businesses.
As far as fresh and perishable foods are concerned, they both need to be kept at low temperatures: perishable items should be kept at around 4°C to 10 °C and fresh products below 4°C. Therefore, Dolceterra packs food in a proper way to guarantee the product’s high quality.
We work hard to ensure smooth, duty-free deliveries. In the last 90 days, fewer than 2% of orders have incurred customs fees.
If this happens, simply send us the customs invoice — we’ll issue a voucher of equal (or slightly higher) value, valid with no expiry
Shipping Methods and Expected Shipping Times
Dolceterra ships all orders via UPS Express / FEDEX Priority.
Express orders must be placed before 8:00 pm CST. Express shipments are expedited through our order process and generally ship via FEDEX Priority, although other carriers are sometimes used (UPS Express).
