Panettone with Sicilian lemon cream
Soft, airy dough filled with a lemon cream made with Sicilian lemon juice and a Limoncello infusion, and enriched with Sicilian lemon paste and candied citron. Bright and fragrant, it is a lighter take on the Christmas classic, and comes with a sachet of powdered sugar to dust before serving.
Pasticceria Scarpato has been baking in Verona since 1888, raising the dough slowly on a white mother yeast handed down through generations. Ideal for breakfast, dessert or as a gift during the holidays.
